# Flight Simulator vs Aviateur

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aviateur at 87% against Flight Simulator's 39%. Aviateur also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). Flight Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (760 vs 106). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Simulator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Aviateur sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aviateur holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Simulator has 760 ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Flight Simulator's written reviews are positive against 87% of Aviateur's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
