# simPODD vs Coobari

The clearest difference is rating: Coobari at 5.0 against simPODD's 4.6. Coobari also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). simPODD's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. simPODD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month and Coobari sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coobari holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: simPODD has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
