# Waymap vs VoiceVista

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Waymap at none against VoiceVista's 2. Waymap also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). VoiceVista's advantage is ratings volume (205 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VoiceVista sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Waymap asks for nothing beyond the download.

Waymap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VoiceVista has 205 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Waymap's written reviews are positive against 80% of VoiceVista's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
