# Password Manager vs OmniLock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OmniLock at 81% against Password Manager's 30%. OmniLock also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Password Manager's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (17K vs 29). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and OmniLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager has 17K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 81% of OmniLock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Password Manager ships an update every 2 months, OmniLock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
