# Assocy vs Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Notebook at 4.3 against Assocy's 3.8. Notebook also leads on ratings volume (523 vs 4) and review sentiment (71% vs 50%). Assocy's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assocy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Notebook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 523 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Assocy's written reviews are positive against 71% of Notebook's.

Assocy ships an update every 5 weeks, Notebook every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
