# Assocy vs NoteSS

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteSS at every 2 weeks against Assocy's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assocy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and NoteSS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assocy ships an update every 5 weeks, NoteSS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
