# MEE vs VHR

The clearest difference is ads: MEE at none against VHR's shown. VHR's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MEE ships an update every 2 months, VHR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
