# Green Mtn vs FredLoya

The clearest difference is rating: Green Mtn at 4.9 against FredLoya's 3.2. Green Mtn also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 15) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). FredLoya's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Green Mtn holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Green Mtn has 4.7K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Green Mtn's written reviews are positive against 50% of FredLoya's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Green Mtn ships an update monthly, FredLoya every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
