# Screenify vs Wallmate

The clearest difference is rating: Wallmate at 3.0 against Screenify's 1.8. Wallmate also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 18 months). Screenify's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (11% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screenify sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Wallmate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wallmate holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screenify has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Screenify's written reviews are positive against 0% of Wallmate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screenify ships an update every 18 months, Wallmate monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
