# Hamster Town vs Push Pop it

The clearest difference is update cadence: Push Pop it at every 4 days against Hamster Town's fortnightly. Hamster Town's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 110). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hamster Town sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Push Pop it sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hamster Town holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hamster Town has 2.3K ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Hamster Town's written reviews are positive against 80% of Push Pop it's.

Hamster Town ships an update fortnightly, Push Pop it every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
