# Tootoise vs Lemmios

The clearest difference is rating: Tootoise at 4.3 against Lemmios's 3.4. Tootoise also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tootoise holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Tootoise's written reviews are positive against 75% of Lemmios's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
