# Bomb Cyclone vs Retro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bomb Cyclone at none against Retro's 4. Bomb Cyclone also leads on ads (none vs shown). Retro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retro sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Bomb Cyclone asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bomb Cyclone ships an update every 5 weeks, Retro weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
