# Bandmates vs Trackd

The clearest difference is rating: Trackd at 3.4 against Bandmates's 2.0. Trackd also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (33 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bandmates sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Trackd sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trackd holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trackd has 33 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
