# MeriTalk vs PublicCEO

The clearest difference is update cadence: PublicCEO at every 3 weeks against MeriTalk's every 9 months. PublicCEO also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). MeriTalk's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PublicCEO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeriTalk has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MeriTalk ships an update every 9 months, PublicCEO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
