# PhotoNote vs Easy Notebook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PhotoNote at 100% against Easy Notebook's 38%. PhotoNote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Easy Notebook's advantage is ratings volume (138 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhotoNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Easy Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PhotoNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Notebook has 138 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of PhotoNote's written reviews are positive against 38% of Easy Notebook's.

PhotoNote ships an update every 3 weeks, Easy Notebook every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
