# Fixnat vs KeyCard BBM

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KeyCard BBM at 84% against Fixnat's 32%. KeyCard BBM also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.5) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Fixnat's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fixnat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and KeyCard BBM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KeyCard BBM holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyCard BBM has 1.6K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of Fixnat's written reviews are positive against 84% of KeyCard BBM's.

Fixnat ships an update every 3 weeks, KeyCard BBM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
