# Senet (AG) vs Fidchell

The clearest difference is update cadence: Senet (AG) at fortnightly against Fidchell's every 3 months. Senet (AG) also leads on ratings volume (116 vs 7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Fidchell's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 67%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Senet (AG) sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Fidchell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Senet (AG) against 4.1 for Fidchell. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Senet (AG) has 116 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Senet (AG)'s written reviews are positive against 80% of Fidchell's.

Senet (AG) ships an update fortnightly, Fidchell every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
