# Putt Vision vs Tour Read Golf

The clearest difference is price: Tour Read Golf at Free against Putt Vision's $4.99. Tour Read Golf also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 32%) and ratings volume (22 vs 3). Putt Vision's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Tour Read Golf is free to download; Putt Vision costs $4.99 up front. Putt Vision sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Tour Read Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Putt Vision holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tour Read Golf has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Putt Vision's written reviews are positive against 71% of Tour Read Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Putt Vision ships an update every 2 months, Tour Read Golf every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
