# Deutschfuchs vs alphaben

The clearest difference is update cadence: alphaben at every 3 weeks against Deutschfuchs's every 8 months. Deutschfuchs's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Deutschfuchs ships an update every 8 months, alphaben every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
