# FitHero vs Decem

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FitHero at 186 against Decem's 1. Decem's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitHero sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Decem sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Decem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FitHero has 186 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of FitHero's written reviews are positive against 100% of Decem's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
