# SmartGo One vs WordSteal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WordSteal at none against SmartGo One's 10. WordSteal also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). SmartGo One's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartGo One sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. WordSteal asks for nothing beyond the download.

WordSteal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartGo One has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SmartGo One ships an update every 8 days, WordSteal every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
