# FreeTime vs Focus Traveller

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Focus Traveller at 3.9K against FreeTime's 9. FreeTime's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (96% vs 86%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FreeTime against 4.9 for Focus Traveller. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of FreeTime's written reviews are positive against 86% of Focus Traveller's.

FreeTime ships an update every 2 weeks, Focus Traveller every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
