# FreeTime vs ChickFocus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ChickFocus at 1K against FreeTime's 9. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ChickFocus sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FreeTime against 4.8 for ChickFocus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChickFocus has 1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of FreeTime's written reviews are positive against 89% of ChickFocus's.

FreeTime ships an update every 2 weeks, ChickFocus every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
