# Bailiwik vs Proxi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bailiwik at none against Proxi's 1. Bailiwik also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 3). Proxi's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proxi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bailiwik asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bailiwik against 5.0 for Proxi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bailiwik has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Bailiwik ships an update every 3 weeks, Proxi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
