# Juicy Stack vs Hook Jam

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hook Jam at weekly against Juicy Stack's every 5 weeks. Juicy Stack's advantage is ratings volume (9.3K vs 1.6K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Juicy Stack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hook Jam sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Juicy Stack against 4.5 for Hook Jam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Juicy Stack has 9.3K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 28% and 27% positive.

Juicy Stack ships an update every 5 weeks, Hook Jam weekly. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
