# CheckingIn vs Deeper Me

The clearest difference is rating: CheckingIn at 4.8 against Deeper Me's 4.5. CheckingIn also leads on ratings volume (56 vs 16). Deeper Me's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CheckingIn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Deeper Me sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CheckingIn holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 56 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of CheckingIn's written reviews are positive against 100% of Deeper Me's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CheckingIn ships an update every 2 months, Deeper Me every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
