# DSIJ PAS vs SOCTR

The clearest difference is update cadence: SOCTR at every 3 weeks against DSIJ PAS's every 12 months. DSIJ PAS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DSIJ PAS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SOCTR sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DSIJ PAS ships an update every 12 months, SOCTR every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
