# e vs Linba

The clearest difference is rating: Linba at 5.0 against e's 3.3. Linba also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). e's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Linba sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Linba holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

e ships an update every 3 months, Linba fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
