# Gradient vs PicsPro

The clearest difference is rating: Gradient at 4.3 against PicsPro's 1.9. Gradient also leads on review sentiment (39% vs 0%) and ratings volume (24K vs 13). PicsPro's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gradient sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PicsPro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gradient holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gradient has 24K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Gradient's written reviews are positive against 0% of PicsPro's.

Gradient ships an update fortnightly, PicsPro every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
