# Imation Photo Printer vs Polaroid Hi·Print

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Imation Photo Printer at 100% against Polaroid Hi·Print's 55%. Imation Photo Printer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Polaroid Hi·Print's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (19K vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Polaroid Hi·Print holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Polaroid Hi·Print has 19K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Imation Photo Printer's written reviews are positive against 55% of Polaroid Hi·Print's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Imation Photo Printer ships an update every 2 weeks, Polaroid Hi·Print fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
