# Umpire's Clicker vs PlayMaker Baseball

The clearest difference is rating: PlayMaker Baseball at 4.5 against Umpire's Clicker's 3.9. PlayMaker Baseball also leads on ratings volume (191 vs 10). Umpire's Clicker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayMaker Baseball sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Umpire's Clicker asks for nothing beyond the download.

PlayMaker Baseball holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayMaker Baseball has 191 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Umpire's Clicker's written reviews are positive against 58% of PlayMaker Baseball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
