# Sensor vs Duet Air

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sensor at none against Duet Air's 2. Sensor also leads on review sentiment (56% vs 24%). Duet Air's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 4) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duet Air sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year. Sensor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Duet Air holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Duet Air has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Sensor's written reviews are positive against 24% of Duet Air's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sensor ships an update every 2 months, Duet Air every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
