# Bar Exam Drills vs Bar Exam Prep

The clearest difference is rating: Bar Exam Prep at 5.0 against Bar Exam Drills's 4.5. Bar Exam Prep also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Bar Exam Drills's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (26 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bar Exam Drills sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Bar Exam Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bar Exam Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bar Exam Drills has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bar Exam Drills ships an update fortnightly, Bar Exam Prep every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
