# Standby Clock vs My Widgets

Standby Clock and My Widgets both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Standby Clock's written reviews are positive against 51% of My Widgets's. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standby Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and My Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 716 and 355 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Standby Clock's written reviews are positive against 51% of My Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Standby Clock ships an update every 6 weeks, My Widgets every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
