# Rope N Roll vs Twisted Flip

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Rope N Roll at 34K against Twisted Flip's 62. Rope N Roll also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Twisted Flip's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 55%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rope N Roll holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rope N Roll has 34K ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Rope N Roll's written reviews are positive against 64% of Twisted Flip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rope N Roll ships an update every 11 days, Twisted Flip every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
