# Skate Space vs Roller Beach

The clearest difference is rating: Skate Space at 4.7 against Roller Beach's 4.0. Skate Space also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 4) and chart position (#168 vs unranked). Roller Beach's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skate Space sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Roller Beach asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skate Space holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skate Space has 29K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Skate Space's written reviews are positive against 100% of Roller Beach's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skate Space ships an update fortnightly, Roller Beach daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
