# CUG vs Cadence

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CUG at none against Cadence's 1. CUG also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Cadence's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CUG asks for nothing beyond the download.

CUG ships an update every 5 months, Cadence every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
