# Flip note ™ vs MaskNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: MaskNote at every 4 days against Flip note ™'s every 9 days. Flip note ™'s advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip note ™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MaskNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip note ™ ships an update every 9 days, MaskNote every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
