# Word Vision vs Word Master

The clearest difference is rating: Word Master at 4.9 against Word Vision's 4.3. Word Master also leads on ratings volume (21K vs 7) and chart position (#33 vs unranked). Word Vision's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Vision sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Word Master sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Master holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Master has 21K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Word Vision's written reviews are positive against 64% of Word Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
