# Pongo vs Bingo Up

The clearest difference is rating: Bingo Up at 5.0 against Pongo's 1.5. Bingo Up also leads on ratings volume (156 vs 2). Pongo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pongo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bingo Up sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bingo Up holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bingo Up has 156 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pongo ships an update weekly, Bingo Up fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
