# X vs Home Security Camera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: X at none against Home Security Camera's 10. X also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Home Security Camera's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Home Security Camera sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. X asks for nothing beyond the download.

X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home Security Camera has 3.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of X's written reviews are positive against 33% of Home Security Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

X ships an update every 2 months, Home Security Camera every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
