# Pollaya vs Self share

The clearest difference is rating: Pollaya at 4.3 against Self share's 3.0. Pollaya also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (92 vs 2). Self share's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Self share sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Pollaya asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pollaya holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pollaya has 92 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pollaya ships an update weekly, Self share every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
