# Crestron Home vs Mother App

The clearest difference is rating: Crestron Home at 3.7 against Mother App's 3.0. Crestron Home also leads on ratings volume (108 vs 5). Mother App's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crestron Home holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crestron Home has 108 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Crestron Home's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mother App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
