# ARknet vs Scene

The clearest difference is rating: Scene at 5.0 against ARknet's 4.7. ARknet's advantage is ratings volume (316 vs 11) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARknet sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Scene sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scene holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARknet has 316 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ARknet ships an update fortnightly, Scene every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
