# E vs Brenes

The clearest difference is ads: Brenes at none against E's shown. E's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E ships an update fortnightly, Brenes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
