# Knitpop vs Princess Choice

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Knitpop at 181 against Princess Choice's 1. Knitpop also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Knitpop against 5.0 for Princess Choice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knitpop has 181 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Knitpop ships an update every 2 months, Princess Choice every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
