# VOUSCon vs ChurchGrids

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChurchGrids at every 2 weeks against VOUSCon's every 7 months. VOUSCon's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for VOUSCon against 5.0 for ChurchGrids. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOUSCon has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VOUSCon ships an update every 7 months, ChurchGrids every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
