# 希望学 vs 初中英语宝

The clearest difference is rating: 希望学 at 4.9 against 初中英语宝's 4.3. 希望学 also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 初中英语宝's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 希望学 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and 初中英语宝 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

希望学 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of 希望学's written reviews are positive against 100% of 初中英语宝's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
