# Notas NUR vs Linguin

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notas NUR at 100% against Linguin's 47%. Notas NUR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Linguin's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (168 vs 9). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Linguin sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Notas NUR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Linguin holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Linguin has 168 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Notas NUR's written reviews are positive against 47% of Linguin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notas NUR ships an update monthly, Linguin fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
