# Backup Care Connection vs Amazon Shopper Panel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Backup Care Connection at 100% against Amazon Shopper Panel's 46%. Backup Care Connection also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14). Amazon Shopper Panel's advantage is ratings volume (180K vs 13) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amazon Shopper Panel holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazon Shopper Panel has 180K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Backup Care Connection's written reviews are positive against 46% of Amazon Shopper Panel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Backup Care Connection ships an update every 3 months, Amazon Shopper Panel every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
